BGE Energizing Small Business Grants

The BGE Energizing Small Business grant program, presented in partnership with Hello Alice and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), is offering $20K grants to help central Maryland businesses succeed and thrive.

To be eligible:

Applicants must be a for-profit business and an existing BGE electric and/or gas customer in good standing with BGE. Other eligibility criteria include:

  • Be a for-profit business that has been operating for at least one (1) year at the start of the application
  • Existing BGE electric and/or gas customer in good standing with BGE
  • In good standing (or on the way to) with the State of Maryland
  • A maximum of twenty-five (25) full-time employees
  • Annual gross revenues in 2023 of less than $7 million USD
  • Demonstrated need for funding to support business and serve customers

If you applied and were not selected for a previous round of the program, you are welcome to submit a new application. We will evaluate your application based on any new information and judge it against a new pool of applicants! The deadline for this round is July 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. ET.
