We’re excited to announce the second round of recipients for the Sonoma County Alliance Small Business Opportunity Fund!
The Sonoma County Alliance is a coalition of businesses, agriculture, labor, and individuals working together to foster a healthy economy, maintain a sound environment, protect private property rights, and promote a responsive political process.
Recognizing that securing capital or obtaining loans is a significant challenge for small business owners today, this multi-year grant program aims to support the revitalization and growth of the Sonoma County community. It prioritizes business owners who traditionally lack access to capital. Applicants applied for grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, which will be awarded to local businesses looking to make a capital investment in their future. To qualify, businesses had to be located in Sonoma County, operational for at least a year, and have fewer than 25 employees.
Congratulations to all the recipients, who will each receive $5,000 grants! These recipients have big plans and dreams and know exactly how to utilize these funds to help their businesses grow.
